About Chris

Christine Emond is a local mixed media artist who does landscapes, abstracts and figurative work. She has been working in the field as a painter and a teacher over the last 20 years . Getting her BA of Arts in painting from California State University, Northridge, she has exhibited nationally.

 I love the creative process of painting. Inspired by a place, a song, or an experience, I use metaphor and the language of art to reflect on what I’ve lived. Art gives me an outlet to express my life, and I aspire to uplift my viewers by connecting them to the complex emotions of the human heart.
